There are limited grocery options in Cambutal with only a few small local shops that have essentials such as milk, eggs, juice and some packaged and canned goods. Your best grocery options are available in Chitre, Las Tablas and Tonosi as you make your way to Cambutal.

CHITRE

Riba Smith – is a high end grocery store chain located  throughout Panama that has a great selection of foods for  your vacation stay in Cambutal.  Riba Smith is higher  priced, but has everything you need from essentials to a  great beer and wine selection, to some of the best organic  options in the country.  The Chitre location has ice cream  and a coffee bar in the store for your ride to Cambutal.

 

 

 

 

The Rey is located inside the Mall Paseo Central on Route  2. The Rey is the largest full service grocery store prior to  arriving in Cambutal. Lighter on the wallet than Riba Smith  and a wider selection, but without as many high end or  diverse items.

LAS TABLAS

Super Carne is the best grocery option in Las Tablas as a full service grocery store with a bakery, deli and quick order food counter. Super Carne has a good selection of fruits, vegetables, beer, wine and liquor. They also have a hardware/fishing equipment section in the back right of the store. There are a number of other shops/markets in Las Tablas for groceries/food if you want to look around.
